Student Life

The images selected in this series capture a variety of student extracurricular activities and hobbies in the 1960’s and 70’s at Florida State University. Much like today, student life outside of the classroom consisted of spending time with friends, engagement with the arts, and part time work. In these photos one can see how students invested in their social lives and created a sense of community on and off the University’s campus.
